Writing again

I've been reading a lot of fanfiction lately.

All these amazing works and writings of people amaze me, just like they had many years ago.

I realized, how long has it been since I've last written something? A story or even just a short passage?

I've actually been writing at a very young age. I even wanted to be a writer at some point in my childhood.

I went through some of my old files and found a folder under the title "Stories". In it were, very much like the title states, my stories. Just a few prologues or first chapters of some inspirations I had and never got to complete.

I know my resolution to write again isn't strong, like always, but I'd like to give it a try. I want to find the joy in writing again, to remember why I loved it so much when I was younger.

Maybe I'm just trying to regain a part of my childhood, a part that I would say "I wish I'd done that" in the future.

How I miss it. How I long for it.
